I took this picture when Jake and Caroline were at a friend's birthday party. They prayed before the snacks and I just couldn't help peeking. :)
This is one of my favorite pictures because it is so important to me that our children learn how to really "talk" to God. Whenever a problem arises, that is the first thing I want to come to mind . . . "let's pray about it." It makes my heart glad when I see Jake mouthing a silent prayer to his heavenly Father when he is frustrated or worried about something. (or when he has done something that needs forgiveness!) How wonderful and completely special it is to have a personal relationship with the One who created you!
