Happy Monday

Lots of this going on lately . . . and I do mean lots.

I'm not complaining, though.

I love to watch my Jake and I love the excuse to sit and talk with the other moms.

The kids don't mind it either . . . they get to play with great friends at the games.

There is also a lot of soccer.
I love that, too. :)

The kids are out of school for the summer and I couldn't be more thrilled.
We have been so busy and I am looking forward to . . .
lazy days in the pool,
fun days with friends, and
creative play days in the house. 
I'm also looking forward to getting rooms organized and doing a few other projects (like painting our master bedroom and the kitchen cabinets).

 The kids and I will be sitting down to make one of our own today.

Caroline's Last Soccer Game of the Fall Season

Here are a few pictures of Caroline's last soccer game of the season. We were so lucky this year because we got nice weather for almost every game!! The girls had so much fun playing together. Go Flyers!!After the game, we went to Caroline's favorite place, Wheaton Delights, to have ice cream. (Luke didn't want to get in the picture)
It was a blessing for Caroline to be on a team with so many of her friends from school. She had a great season!!!!

Soccer

Caroline is loving soccer this Fall. She is on a team with a lot of her friends from Kindergarten, which makes it so fun!!! What a blessing to have such great friends!! Caroline loves to be the goalie . . . every once in a while, we have to remind her to watch the ball and stop doing cartwheels. :)

Soccer in the Rain

We are thankful for the blessing of rain today. Despite the rainy weather, Caroline played in a soccer game this morning. The rain came and went throughout the game. Her games are at 8:00 on Saturday mornings!! It is sooo hard to get everyone up and out the door on time, but we did it! :) Caroline played well and,more importantly, had a lot of fun with her friends.

Caroline Started Soccer!!

Caroline started soccer tonight. What a bundle full of energy and excitement she was!! Several of her kindergarten friends are on her team so it will be a very fun season!! I had so much fun watching her anticipate the season. She was counting down the days and kept begging me to have all the girls over for a practice at our house before the real practice. (we didn't do that) She has two great coaches. One of them coaches soccer at Wheaton College so I am looking forward to Caroline really learning a lot about the actual game of soccer this year.
