Poor John

This morning, John went to play basketball with some friends at Wheaton Academy and he ruptured his Achilles tendon.
Please pray that he will not be in so much pain.
He will go into surgery next Friday and then he will have to stay home for two whole weeks. (that will be hard for John. . . he does not like to miss school!)
The doctor who fixed Caroline's broken arm will be performing the surgery, so we feel confident that he will do a good job.

In this picture, John is telling his mom all about it.
He's being a real trooper and not complaining, but I know he's hurting.
The kids are so sweet with how they want to help him.
They have already planned that we are going to take his "Friday Doughnut" order and go get it for him.

This is what happened . . .he said he thought something fell off of the gym ceiling and landed on his ankle. Ouch!!
