On Christmas Eve, we had a lovely time at my cousin Julie's house. Her sister, Jenni, and her family were there. It's always fun to laugh about old times with her. We used to live a mile apart on farms in Wisconsin. Boy, do we have some stories. :)

Uncle Phil (my Dad's brother)

My cousins Julie and Philip. (we were so glad to have Philip there . . . we haven't seen him in sooo long . . . he lives in Nebraska)

Caleb sure had fun.
So did Jake. :)

Whenever the Eckstrom clan gets together, the instruments all come out. We have a tradition of playing and singing Christmas carols together. It just doesn't feel like Christmas without this part. (I'm on the flute and John is on the trumpet.)

Luke is trying to figure out which instrument he will play someday.
Listening and singing from the staircase.
Jack played a solo for us.

What a blessing it was to worship together on Christmas Eve.
