New Year's Eve

Tonight, I am definitely thankful for our three little blessings who are always up for a big celebration. Our New Year's Eve party consisted of our traditional
"make-your-own" party hats, peppermint ice cream, and marching in a parade while Harry Connick sings Auld Lang Syne in his fun New Orleans style. Luke was on the electric guitar, Caroline was on the drum, and Jake was on his acoustic guitar. Very fun. Luke and Caroline did not stay up to see the ball drop, but we let Jake stay up for the first time. He loved that!! (he promised that he would stay in bed until 10:00 tomorrow morning... we'll see!)

  1. It took me a while to get the "HNY" on Caroline's signs...very clever! I love the homemade hats, too. What a gift to give your kids such great family memories!

  2. P.S. Is that your "road-stripe-yellow" paint? It doesn't look so bad in the pictures.
